John Williams
President
John Williams joined Contractor Transport in January 2021 as Chief Operating Officer, assuming responsibility for overseeing the company’s global operations. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across transportation, logistics, field services, aviation management, and emergency response.
Since joining Contractor Transport, John’s leadership has played a key role in streamlining operational processes during a period of rapid growth. Under his direction, the company successfully diversified its business model to drive revenue and profitability while simultaneously improving safety performance and DOT metrics. He and his team executed multiple long-term, diversified growth initiatives, including the strategic growth of the oil fleet through the addition of new assets. At the same time, John led the replacement of existing equipment with modern assets and developed a comprehensive asset replacement schedule to systematically retire aging fleet. These efforts resulted in sustained growth, improved fleet reliability, and the continued deployment of modernized assets to meet increasing customer demand.
In recognition of his leadership and impact, Mr. Williams was promoted to President of Contractor Transport, effective May 2022.
Prior to joining Contractor Transport, John spent eight years with one of the largest industry service providers in the country, known for delivering integrated solutions, expert logistics, and technology-driven services. As Division Manager, he and his team led the Appalachian Basin in market share, paving the way for two successful acquisitions that strengthened revenue growth, profitability, and business diversification. He also played a key leadership role in launching a mobile housing rental platform that proved vital in delivering COVID-19 relief solutions to colleges, universities, and private-sector organizations nationwide.
Before entering the energy services industry, John spent nine years in aviation management, serving as Operational Control Manager with responsibility for 116 air medical aircraft operating across the United States, as well as two Learjets and four King Air aircraft supporting domestic and international operations. In addition to his aviation and energy-sector leadership, John has more than 30 years of experience as a firefighter, including four years as an industrial firefighter and senior sergeant, where he oversaw emergency response crews, operations, and training programs.
John is married and the proud father of four children and two grandsons. Outside of work, he is an avid deep-water fisherman and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
This experience has helped streamline the processes of the business which was important with the rapid growth of the business. Since joining the CT team, the company has successfully diversified its business model to drive profitability while improving upon all safety and DOT metrics. He and his team have successfully executed on multiple, long term and diversified opportunities in addition to the ramp up of our Field Services Division. Additionally, he and his team ramped up operations in Lakeland, FL focusing on transportation logistics for multiple clients which has seen continuous growth and the need for additional asset deployments.
Mr. Williams has been promoted to President of Contractor Transport, effective May 2022. Prior to joining CT, John spent 8 years with Stallion Oilfield Services, the global leader of integrated solutions, expert logistics, and smart technology. As Division Manager with Stallion, he and his team lead the Appalachian Basin in market share which paved the way for two successful acquisitions which drove and improved revenue, profitability, and diversification. In addition, John led his team with the launch of StallionRents which was vital to providing Covid-19 mobile housing relief to colleges, universities and other private sector businesses. Prior to entering the oil and gas industry, John spent 9 years in Aviation Management where he was the Operational Control Manager responsible for 116 rotorcraft, 2 Learjets, and 4 KingAir aircraft - domestic and international operations
Lew Cessna
Chief Operating Officer
Lew Cessna has spent the entirety of his professional career in the Oil and Gas sector. Mr. Cessna obtained Bachelor’s degree in Safety Sciences from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and started his career with a small service company in 2004.
He thrived in the challenging environment of a growing company and evolved with the organization transitioning from various HSE roles to Operational Management. Mr. Cessna successfully held multiple Operational Management roles starting as a Field Manager, being promoted to District Manager, followed by another promotion to Regional Manager within the same organization. Mr. Cessna began his career with Contractor Transport in 2020 as a Corporate Safety Officer and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in May of 2022. In this position, Mr. Cessna oversees the operations of the organization with a focus on delivering excellent service quality in a safe, efficient and environmentally sound fashion while maximizing profitability for the company and providing customers with a fair market price
Jessica Rogers
VP of Finance
Jessica Rogers is the Vice President of Finance for Contractor Transport. She oversees the Finance/Accounting, HR and IT functions. In her role, she is responsible
for leading a talented team focused on day-to-day accounting operations and internal controls, financial planning and analysis, treasury, audit and investor relations, employee retention, payroll, benefits, systems and security.
Jessica brings over 20 years of progressive experience from 180s, ZeroChroma, EMG and Bureau Veritas where she has successfully developed and implemented strategic initiatives to achieve financial results, built high performing teams both in office and remote environments, supported multiple mergers and acquisitions through due diligence to integration, championed system migrations and lead collaborative process improvement initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Towson University and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola College.
In her free time, she enjoys cheering for her daughters during indoor and outdoor volleyball season, kayaking and fishing with her family, and pausing for beautiful sunsets.
Lindsey Dornon
HR Manager
Lindsey has spent over 8 years of her professional career building expertise across multiple facets of business operations. She obtained her degree in Business Administration and Marketing and has dedicated her career to driving operational excellence and supporting strategic growth initiatives across diverse business environments.
Throughout her career, Lindsey has successfully managed multi-state operations, overseeing complex client accounts and ensuring regulatory compliance. Her experience spans human resources management, billing operations, and team leadership, where she has consistently delivered measurable improvements in process efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
Lindsey currently serves as HR Manager at Contractor Transport. In this position, she oversees human resources operations with a focus on staff development, regulatory compliance, and fostering positive workplace culture while supporting the company's growth objectives and ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
Mike Neil
Fleet Manager
Mike Neil has spent over 35 years of his professional career in diverse industrial sectors, building extensive expertise across mining, fire truck manufacturing and repair, oil and gas operations, and fluid management. He began his career in the mining industry where he spent 10 years developing foundational skills in heavy equipment operations and maintenance in demanding industrial environments.
Mr. Neil transitioned into fire truck manufacturing and repair, where he spent 15 years specializing in emergency vehicle systems, hydraulics, and complex mechanical operations. His expertise in this sector provided him with advanced technical knowledge that would prove invaluable in his subsequent roles. For the past 15 years, Mr. Neil has worked extensively in the oil and gas sector, focusing on operations and fluid handling systems.
Mr. Neil currently serves as Fleet Manager at Contractor Transport. In this position, he oversees all fleet repairs, maintenance, and equipment updates, applying his deep expertise in logistics and industrial operations to ensure maximum equipment reliability and operational efficiency. His hands-on approach and comprehensive technical knowledge enable him to lead maintenance teams effectively while minimizing downtime and maximizing asset performance for the organization.
Gene Telarico
General Counsel
Gene Talerico, Esq., is General Counsel for Contractor Transport. Since the Spring of 2016 he has developed expertise as corporate counsel for several businesses including fluid transportation,
construction and remediation. Gene is also the owner of the Law Offices of Gene Talerico, Esq., LLC, based in Old Forge, PA, but also holds the unique distinction of being the First Assistant District Attorney for the Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office for an impressive 16 years until March 2016.
In addition, Mr. Talerico collaborates closely with Comerford Law, Scranton, PA. as an Of Counsel member of Comerford Law’s extended legal team. A proud alum of the University of Scranton, Gene holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/History (1989).
Community Involvement and Awards: Gene’s commitment to community service is extensive. He has been a President of Marley’s Mission, Inc., a non-profit providing equine-assisted psychotherapy to traumatized children. His dedication has earned him accolades such as the “Volunteer of the Year” for the Eastern Region of the United States and the Child Advocate Award from the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA.
His vast experience in the legal field is further enriched by his contributions as a published author and involvement in multiple committees and organizations.
